Take part in this months AUGUST 48HR Film Challenge
THE CHALLENGE:
You will have just 48 hours to write, shoot, edit and submit a 2-minute film.
WHAT YOU NEED:
A mobile phone or camera, yourself and anyone who gives you permission to film them
THE RULES:
- Theme: Will be announced at 7pm on August 28th 2020. Australian Eastern Standard Time.
- Duration: The movie should be no longer than two minutes including any credits or titles.
- Time Limit: You will have 48hrs to shoot, edit and submit your film.
- Films should not be an advertisement.
- No home videos or showreels.
- Make sure there are no copyright infringements regarding music or other elements in your film.
- You must be 18+ if you decide to screen your film at Kino Sydney next month.
HOW TO TAKE PART:
- Commit – When you’re ready to take part click the sign up button below.
- Challenge kick-off: On Friday the 28th of August at 7 pm you will be emailed a theme, a prop or line of dialogue that you will need to include in your film and submit by 7 pm on Sunday the 30th of August 2020.
- Create something: Make one or as many videos as you like and submit them below within the 48 hour time limit. All videos will be shared on our Facebook page after the challenge.
- Get Involved! Watch, comment and give feedback on everyone’s videos!
- Come back: Take part in the next Film Challenge.
THIS AUGUST 48HR FILM CHALLENGE WILL RUN FROM
7 PM FRIDAY AUGUST 28th 2020 TO 7 PM SUNDAY AUGUST 30th 2020

CONDITIONS FOR ENTERING:
- You will be taking part in this challenge for fun, your film will not be judged and there will be no prizes to be won. Like working out this is just a challenge to flex your creative muscles.
- You must have the rights to all the footage and music you upload and make sure to credit them correctly.
HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR FILM:
- Upload your film to Youtube or Vimeo.
- Submit the URL and any details relating to your film below. If your film is private please share the password. Also, include a small synopsis if you like.
- We will then email you to confirm your entry.
- Your film will automatically be screened at Kino Sydney on September 14th. Once you submit your film we will be in touch about the event and details.
