Kicked off during COVID19 lockdown.

Film Championships is a small online community taking part in “anytime” or 48HR film challenges created and run by Roxanne Prophet.

Film Champs is about motivating filmmakers around the world with short, regular creative challenges that are designed for anyone to try, professional and amateur alike.

The challenges are set up with the hope that a time constraint and theme to focus on, means you will actually create a finished product.

Being a creative person can be very hard especially when you study or work in a creative industry. You often find yourself constantly fulfilling someone else’s creative vision or dream, while not having the time to put into your own project and let those creative thoughts flow.

You can feel stuck and when you do pull together a project it can feel rushed and without practice, which can be very un-motivating and disheartening.

Today it is time to work on you and your own project!

Film Championships is a platform for you to have that creative release, through personal challenge, development and community support.
